10 natural ways to prevent pregnancy nausea

Morning sickness or general nausea is one of the most common side effects of pregnancy, many women have to deal with during their pregnancy. Nausea usually occurs in the morning when you wake up because the stomach is empty. This often passes at the beginning of the fourth month or second trimester. In some rare cases the nausea lasts until the end of the pregnancy. It can be hard to continue your everyday life, when feeling nauseous all the time. 1. Consume sodium bicarbonate

When you feel sick, you can make yourself a glass of water containing a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate and lemon juice. Drink it slowly, several times a day until your symptoms improve.

2. Eat little and often.

Your stomach is fragile during pregnancy. To avoid nausea, you should eat little portions several times a day to help the digestion. You can for example, eat five small meals a day. Eat breakfast in the morning, a snack at 10 o’clock, a lunch, a snack and then dinner.
